Ted Haggard’s now former president of the National Evangelical Association in America who is a close spiritual adviser to President Bush, is disgraced after truths of his homosexual lifestyle is exposed. He has caused non believers to mock God because of his action and no wonder with him being the advisor to Bush, the president is lacking the moral compass to do the right thing. I am glad Ted decided to step down and repenting of his homosexual lifestyle and hypocrisy. I pray God will restore this man just as God has restored Jim Bakker.

As i read this on Christianity Today about the resignation of Pastor Ted Haggard, i realised the battle is raging on fiercely, the hammer will hit the leadership first and hardest, for if they fall, credibility of Christianity will go with them, therefore it is a question of are we upholding our leaders in prayer? Ted Haggard is one of the biggest proponent to Ecumenical Movement in his role as the president of NAE and i am equally aware that this man represents Christianity on the large as very much a public figure. I too realised this man, is a man. He fell, and haven’t you and i fell and in fact many times? I am in no position to judge this man, nor am i going to lift the first stone to condemn him, and in fact i do pray for this man, and too wanted to hug him and let him know i am praying for him. That God will vindicate him and restore him, his life and his relations with his family! God will use Ted Haggard again as He has with Jim Bakker. My God is a GREAT God and He is a God of second chance!
