I love the book of Ecclesiastes – the Philosophy of life. The author King Solomon probably wrote the book at the end of his life, and it is his reflection of life, the wisest person reflected on his life and his relationship with God. He came to a conclusion: The conclusion of the matter is to Fear God and keep all His commandments, for this is the duty of man. Ecc 12:13.

It’s said that Solomon wrote the Song of songs in his early life, Proverbs in the later, and Ecclesiastes in the last part of his life when he was being led astray by his foreign wives.
1 Kings 11:4 For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.
I’ve enjoyed your comments with regard to the book of Ecclesiastes. It was a hard book to read from the beginning, but after I searched in other areas, for example, NIV, KJV & other commentators’s comments, I’ve come to appreciate it very much. I’d reccomend it to anyone to study it diligently. Thank God for organisations like yours who made it so simpler for person like me to understand it and treasure every verse.
