Measure of maturity

18 09 2006

Mercy pointed out an article by John Paul JacksonIn God we trust, taking Him at His word” when it comes to the part where it says the measure of one’s maturity is when problem and opposition occurs, especially when it raises the temperature up a notch. How true that is, and i must say, my maturity level is something i need to work at, over the last few days, i can’t help but come to a realisation of the fact, i am far from a finished product, perhaps at this point of my life, i’ve come to another big hole which the Potter needs to work at and i can trust in the Potter’s hands. Yet, the constant reminder what if i fail at it, and find out that the Lord will say “i do not know you” when i stand before the Judgment seat of Christ, and God help me to have a faith like the child, to trust in You and yet, to grow in the depth of my knowledge of You through the fellowship of the Holy Spirit that i may grow in spiritual maturity and not remain a childish faith.
