A friend wrote on facebook notes
You are writing a Gospel,
A chapter each dayBy the deeds that you do
And the words that you sayMen read what you write
whether faithful or trueJust what is the Gospel
according to you?- Anonymous
Can this be the gospel? Our lives? Our words? What we write? Our life is a testament, a reflection of the Gospel and its work on our lives. Can what we write or how we live it be really the gospel? Then, this is consistent with the Emerging Church doctrines that we are indeed can be god. The scriptures spoke plainly of the Gospel which is the good news of Jesus coming down from heaven, dying for our sins on the Cross, and through faith in Him we are justified, and He is coming back soon. That’s the gospel and Apostle Paul urged us to continue to be faithful to the message of the Gospel. Do not change the message of the gospel thinking we are the message.

this kind of goes along the lines of viewing the Bible as a story. Kind of a postmodern or emerging way of thinking.
My first thought is that the Gospel is that Jesus died and rose again for you (everyone individually) that they might come to believe in Him and experience eternal life with Him.
With that said, we all play a role in people coming to Jesus. God chose us to be the ambassadors for himself in this world. We are Jesus for the world. In that way, I guess you can say our lives and all we do are the Gospel, but I think we must first remind ourselves of what truly the gospel is.
I see the last part of it “Just what is the gospel according to you?” is one of the main doctrine of the emerging church which emphasized on the focus of the revelation of salvation in us, rather than Jesus-centred Gospel. So what is the gospel according to you, or a Jehovah Witness, or Mormons, or a Satanist, or a Catholic? The underlying Relativism is the bedrock of SELF ILLUMINATION which is perpetuated by Liberalism, and is fundamentally NEW AGE.
